Hey Readers, Before the year closes, I always like to reflect on the things that are really most important to me: family and friends. As members of my DDSMM, Forex Decoder, and VPS Team, I consider you among my closest friends. Seasons greetings and a Happy New Year to you and your family! I would be entirely ungrateful if I did not write this email and take a few minutes to say THANK YOU. Every year, I reflect on just how long I've been trading Forex and the impact my trader's have had on my life. This will be my 8th Holiday season where I have had the privilege of trading alongside you. Still today, there are a few of you who where there with me when it all began. It's exciting for me to look at how far we have come together and thrilling to imagine the changes 2012 will certainly bring. How has your trading been this year? Just because I'm a professional trader doesn't always mean the financial pressures and worries of life can't get to me. I know many of my closest friends and traders that have had a real struggle this year, as the economy continues to be in shambles. I love motivational speeches and I love listening to how successful people got to where they are. On that note, Anthony Robbins, one of the most successful people in the world, identified one key attribute that all the great traders, athletes, politicians and actors possess: RESOURCEFULNESS Understandably, nearly everyone thinks they have a resource problem. You may feel you don't have enough money, the right staff, the right technology, or anything else for that matter. Think about this: It was the same for anyone who ever made it to their dream. They faced the same resource problems, but their RESOURCEFULNESS ultimately got them to where they wanted to be. I know it's easy to say this, and some people might have lost hope, but don't. Wherever you are at this time in your life - you made it this far, don't give up, think of the successes you've had in the past, you can get to where you want to go. My colleague, Mark McCrae put it best: "Trading, or for that matter, anything you do, does not define you. If you are profitable or unprofitable as a trader, it has nothing to do with who you are as a person. In many ways, 2011 has been my best year ever. Although I faced many difficulties, including building a new member's area, creating a stronger, more reliable VPS Core (That I'm nearly finished with!), enhancing the coding of DDSMM-Instant and Auto-DDSMM (More exciting news coming for BOTH of those software systems as well!), and adding a few new employees and traders to my Forex Decoder Team, My Forex Decoder 10 Pip EA had a break-out year in terms of profits, DDSMM-Instant and Auto-DDSMM helped more traders than ever before manage lot sizes more properly, and my SFDC (Forex Decoder Club) elevated the knowledge base of many new and experienced traders. So, THANK YOU for your continued friendship and support! I never forget that the people who read my emails are the people who become my clients, subscribers and friends. I appreciate and understand that it is a privilege to be able to talk with you. I also know I have to earn the right to continue the relationship. I wouldn't be in the position I am now, if it were not for your reading of this email. For the next 7-10 days, I'm going to be working on some new and exciting updates. I plan on finishing up my VPS updates (The reason for some of the sluggishness as of late) and I'd LOVE for 5-10 BETA Testers to help me with this transition (Send me an email or reply back if you're interested). I chose these next two weeks to work on these changes as I personally don't trade too often this time of year, as the markets are a bit more unpredictable and there is less liquidity to trade. So, if you are VPS Member or a member of any of my services for that matter, give yourself a break and just switch off for a few days (You can monitor your accounts by making sure you have access to them on your home computer as well as your VPS). Do what is MOST important this time of year: Spend this time with your family and friends. At the end of the day, they are more important than anything else. They love you regardless of how much money you have, what job you work, or whether or not you are "successful." To them you are already a success - is there anything better than that?
